Bundle Up! UGenie was conceived as a Web 2.0 online service for the American market that helps users create bundles of products of different categories like books, music, electronics etc. The algorithm in the backend was intelligent to collate optimally priced bundles from multiple vendor websites.
Apparatus designed the user experience by creating iterative click-able prototypes and a very Web 2.0 visual design.
Eventually, after a year, UGenie decided change their business directive and dropped the concept of bundles. This did considerably change the interface. However the visual design that includes the brand identifier, color palette and typography has been retained.
For Apparatus, UGenie was a Web 2.0 initiation and the engagement was an upward learning curve. |
