Satheesh Nair has fifteen years of industry experience in user focused design, of which the last six years are in Information Architecture, User interface and User experience design. He holds sound knowledge of the user experience strategies and usability research, and has extensive applied experience in information architecture, information modeling and usability research. So far, Satheesh has completed more than 100 user interface projects in the role of a user experience Lead, and conducted many usability tests and research studies.

Prior to joining Apparatus Media Lab, Satheesh had shared responsibility for setting up the information architecture department and usability lab initiatives at Netkraft Private Ltd, Bangalore. In his role as Director, Information Architecture, he was instrumental in establishing the user experience processes at Netkraft and integrated them seamlessly within the technology processes.

Satheesh has five years of professional training and research experience in industrial design at the Design Centre, Sydney Institute of Technology, Australia as the head of the industrial design department. Satheesh also holds four years of professional industrial design experience at Titan Industries Limited, Bangalore, as senior executive, industrial design.

Satheesh holds Post Graduation in Industrial Design (National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad), Post Graduation in Training and Education (University of Technology Sydney, Australia) and B.Tech in Industrial Engineering.
